Static friction coefficient model of joint surface based on the modified fractal model and experimental investigation

This study proposed coefficient model surfaces based the modified three-dimensional fractal model. A method measuring was investigated to verify accuracy The results showed calculated value measured experiment highly matched. Furthermore, influential mechanisms material, pressure, surface topography were investigated. relative error between experimental calculations all less than 15%. research provides theoretical basis for subsequent connection reliability joints.
